Microsoft account
Open a web browser and navigate to
https://outlook.live.com/owa/
Click Create free account.
Enter a name, for example aidan.delaney.17dec@outlook.com.
Make sure you record the password. The class trainer cannot help you recover this!
Enter your correct first name and last name and country (the Azure trial will use these).
Enter any date of birth (as long as the year is more than 18 years ago, to avoid any possible age-gating).
Send an email to your work address.
Complete the Verify your account puzzle.
Azure Trial
In the web browser running Outlook.com, open a new tab and navigate to
https://www.microsoftazurepass.com
Click Start.
Sign in as the Microsoft Account you created above. If asked to stay signed in, click Yes.
Do not sign in as your work account!
Click Confirm Microsoft Account.
Enter your Azure Pass and click Claim Promo Code. Make sure you don’t have any spaces at the start or end of the code.
After a few minutes, the Microsoft Azure Sign up pages will load.
1 About you
Select your country in the Country/Region field.
Verify that the First name and Last name fields have been filled in with the values from your Microsoft Account.
Enter your Microsoft Account email address in the Email address for important notifications field.
Enter your mobile phone number in the Phone field.
Leave the GST Number field blank.
Enter any address in the Address, City and Postal Code fields. I suggest using your work address.
Select both agreement boxes.
Click Sign up.
After a few minutes, the Azure portal will load.
Account Balance
To check your balance, navigate to
https://www.microsoftazuresponsorships.com/
